第二十八集:见招拆招

一步一步,聪明化解每个难题

Hi friends,

This week’s idiom is 兵来将挡,水来土掩 (bīng lái jiàng dǎng, shuǐ lái tǔ yǎn). It means: “When soldiers come, send generals to block. When water comes, use earth to cover it.” In other words—stay calm and adapt to whatever life throws at you!

We’ll tell a true story of General 韩信 (Hán Xìn), who inspires us to be creative under pressure. He was one of ancient China’s greatest generals and was even called 兵仙 (bīng xiān), the “God of War”.

If you want to learn more about this historical character, check out the TV mini series 5000 Years of Heroes (note: English, age 12+ recommended).

Have a great day!
