Hi friends,
This week’s saying is: 船到桥头自然直 (chuán dào qiáo tóu zì rán zhí). “When the boat reaches the bridge, it will straighten itself.”
It’s a gentle reminder not to panic before the problem even shows up and it pairs perfectly with a previous idiom: 车到山前必有路 (chē dào shān qián bì yǒu lù), “When the car gets to the mountain, a road will appear.”
As a chronic overplanner, I definitely need this advice. Sometimes, it’s okay to trust the flow and enjoy the boat ride a little more.
❤️ If you enjoyed this story, pass it along to someone who needs a little calm today.
